Maddox 9 Month

Heather did it again… She took amazing pictures of my little man!  I like to think she just has a great model, but her work speaks for itself!  The only difference in these pictures and the ones she has taken of my boys in the past is that Heather Wolff is now My Bluegrass Baby Photo!  She started her own company!!!  Check out her website ( and book her for your next family shoot)!

Where did our summer go???

So the summer has ended and it only my second blog post !!!  I have a lot of catching up to do! 

I feel like it rained a lot this summer, so Blake did crafts.  He loves to paint, color and put stickers everywhere!!  I hope Max loves to do these things as well in a few months!  

On the days it was nice, and there were many of these, we did it all!!  Water parks, festival’s, Indianapolis Zoo, Louisville Zoo and our very Cincinnati Zoo, Parades, Museum Center, and the list goes on….. I will try to up load the pictures in order so you can see the boys GROW!!!  Little Maddox got his first tooth on Father’s Day, June 21st and his second a day after that.  He will soon have as many teeth as his big brother.

Myrtle Beach 2009!!

Beach, WOO HOO!!!  Was what I heard for a week leading up to our vacation.  Blake was so excited about going to the ocean!  I believe I heard, “I wanna go beach” or “I wanna go on a cart ride” several dozen times a day!!!  We have been home for a few days and Blake is still asking for the beach and golf cart!!!  On our first day there Carly and Jay brought over their beautiful girls!!  Olivia and Preston were all about the the girls, but who wouldn’t be!  We had such a good time and look forwad to the next trip!!

Happy Birthday Shakers!!

Another year has passed and my little guy turned 2, it breaks my heart to see him grow so fast.  Becoming a parent has been the coolest thing I have ever done!  I hope I am able to give Blake and Max all the happiness and joy they deserve!  Here are a few pictures from Blake’s “Ball” birthday!!  We had the backyard covered in GIANT balls and the kids had a blast!  I attempted to make a ball cake to look like the giant balls in the yard!!  We are just glad that Kroger came through on the cupcakes…………….

Another month has passed….

I can not believe how fast these months pass me by!  My boys are changing every day and it breaks my heart to watch them grow before my eyes, I would love to freeze them right now!  Blake is speaking so much and his vocabulary is growing by the second!  He amazes me on how much he retains and understands.  Max is rolling, scooting, sitting and up and all fours moving all over the place!  He wants to be where Blake is at and now he can get there before Blake does!  He is becoming more vocal and over the past few days he will get upset if he drops something he was playing with.  I did not think my “chill” baby could have such attitude!

J and I took the kiddos to the Zoo for some shots in the Tulips, we really struggled to get one of all 5, but some of the individual turned out great!

 

For Easter we covered the backyards in eggs for the kids.  Blake, Livie, Preston and Starlynn really enjoyed the easter egg hunt!  I am still finding eggs in the backyard!!!

Pickle just chilled in the Jeep…hunting eggs was not his thing!

Maddox Month 5!

He is rolling all over the place and trying to pull himself forward if Blake is in front of him!  Max is starting to “sit” with little help from Mom.  It will not be long before he is sitting all by himself!  I can not believe how much he has grown!

Coloring Eggs!

Blake loved coloring his Easter Eggs!  Watching the water change colors and dropping the eggs down into the die could not have been more fun.  I enjoyed watching his face and the true excitment that this brought him.  He was such and big guy and really did a great job, meaning NO MESS!!!  Max, aka the Golden Child, sat in his highchair and watch the entire time!  I was truly surprised by how relaxed and easy this whole process was!

Brad and I are so EXCITED for Carly and Jay!  They welcomed Sydney Kay Louden on March 19th at 8:36 AM, weighing 5 pounds, 9 ounces!  Abby Gail Louden was born a few minutes after her sister, weighing 4 pounds, 13 ounces!

We are pleased that both girls are now home and Carly and Jay are doing well!  They may not be getting much sleep, but all are in good spirits and look forward to the many sleepless nights looking into their beautiful girls faces!
